Mandara is a progressive/indie rock band based out of Asheville, NC, consisting of lead singer/songwriter and founder Amanda Mandara Sky, drummer Joe Campbell, guitarist Spencer Cranfill and bass player Dillon Wall. Amanda Sky started singing at the age of 10 for large scale events of over 100,000 people. Her poetic writing, inspired from her personal experiences, has described her as a "female Jim Morrison." Over the years she had great success with her solo career performing for the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. as well as being invited to sing for Hungarian Parliament in 2013. In 2011 Amanda moved to Miami Beach to continue her music career where she began to use her middle name Mandara. It is there that she met her drummer Joe. In March of 2015 Amanda and Joe moved to Asheville where they found their current band members and now reside. Their music is a plethora of Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, Jazz, and Blues. This combination of ingredients is what makes Mandara Rock.
